Risk Disclosure & Safety Management Plans
- Continuous Improvement
Makahika OPC runs a comprehensive Risk and Safety Management Programme.
All adventurous activity contains an element of risk, both physical and mental. MOPC has endeavoured to recognise and mitigate risks for each activity. You will be actively encouraged to participate in this process.
All activities have a Risk Assessment Management form completed and available. You will be required to participate in the identification and mitigation of possible risk at MOPC; you will be fully briefed
during the booking and camp process of your obligations to participate in this programme.
Makahika OPC contracts industry qualified instructors. They meet all industry required regulations and registrations. Makahika's low/high ropes and flying fox are audited twice yearly by Project Adventure and also undergo an annual external audit by Bureau Vista to meet the obligation of law as outlined in the Ministry of Business Development Safety Audit Standard for Adventure Operators March 2013.
